| What happens to an aborted baby? | The Scriptures are silent about this, however it does make reference to the womb. God makes the child in the womb and we see this from Job 31:15 and some of the Psalms. We need to be careful when we deal with these things. | Psalm 139 |
| Is there any sin that God will not forgive, if we repent? | Before answering this question, it is important to remember that Jesus Christ died to take "away the sin of the world." Because of this, we need to be very careful to say that God will not forgive sin, or that there is any sin that He cannot forgive. Yet, Christ Himself has answered this question for us. In the verse opposite He says, "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." | Matthew 12:31-32 |
| How old was Ahaziah? In 2 Kings 8:26 the Bible says that he was 22 when he began to reign, yet in 2 Chronicles 22:2 it says he was 42. | At first glance, it does appear that there is a contradiction here. Most of the modern English versions have changed 2 Chronicles 22:2 so that it reads that Ahaziah was 22. However, to do this is completely wrong and must be avoided. The Hebrew actually states "A son of forty and two years Ahaziah when he became king." This means that his mother, Athaliah, was 42. Ahaziah himself was 22. | |
| Why was Cain's offering rejected but Abel's offering was accepted in Genesis 4? |
Many have looked at this passage and have stated that Abel's offering was accepted because it contained blood. However, when you read the Scriptures they make it clear that this answer cannot be correct. Verse 7 is where God is talking with Abel and He says, "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?..." No where does God tell Abel that he needed to bring an offering containing blood. While I recognise that the bible does place an importance on the blood, but the context of this verse is before any of that. Cain's offering was rejected because he gathered what was left to offer. Abel took of the best of the flock and offered that. |

| "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head". How can a woman prophesy (teach) if she is supposed to keep her mouth shut? |
